I tell parents that it’s really hard for everyone to be consistent, even me, and that they will mess up from time to time. The simple fact that they are trying is Huge! I too feel like that failure mom when I’m stressed-usually doing too many things at one time and not focusing on what my kids are needing at the moment the whining or fighting is occurring.
